Space to be Heard

I am thrilled to be giving the keynote address--"Space to be Heard"--at the Democracy Schools Network Convening on March 10. The keynote reframes the concept of student voice in schools emphasizing the fact that we do not "give" students voice. It reminds that there are no voiceless, "only the deliberately silenced, and the preferably unheard" (A. Roy).
